1977
Founded and started operations as an infrastructure works subcontractor.
1989
Diversified its scope of work to include postal transport and agricultural services.
1991
Achieved Fifth-Class in infrastructure works and secured first road maintenance contract.
1993
Awarded first water project.
2003
Secured first water transmission systems project in Riyadh.
2005
Achieved Third-Class in road works and Second-Class in water and road maintenance.
2006
Secured the first road construction contract in Hail, and expanding to more roads projects in Hail and Makkah.
2007
Transformed to Limited Liability Company (LLC) under the name Mutlaq Al-Ghuwairi Contracting Company.
2008
Geographic expansion across Central, Northern, and Western Saudi Arabia.
2010
Major scale-up in project size and scope.
2011
Achieved Second-Class in road projects.
2015
Achieved First-Class classification in road projects, road maintenance, water projects, and dams.
2017
Became a Closed Joint Stock Company, formed a Board and delivered the 450 km Waad Al Shamal TSE pipeline.
2019
Secured first NEOM water transmission project.
2020
Awarded first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract.
2022
Launched governance and organizational reforms; implemented ERP system.
2023
Increased capital from SAR 1M to SAR 300M through retained earnings.
2024
Approved Tadawul listing; capital raised to SAR 800M (from SAR 300M) via retained earnings.
2025
Expanded regionally through prequalification in the GCC.
